Grandview has been providing recovery services to men and their families suffering from alcohol and drug abuse for thirty-seven years. Since our inception we have provided services for over 14,000 men and women from the Southern California, and surrounding areas. All of our clients have received a comprehensive treatment program dealing with their addictions, and subsequent problems created by their addictions, supportive occupational assistance, and long-term aftercare follow-up.

The County of Los Angeles, the State of California, and the Federal Government, for it's pioneering aspects of alcohol and drug recovery treatment, have recognized the Foundation. Because of this recognition and our success in the field of recovery, the Grandview Foundation was chosen in 1977 to facilitate a landmark federally funded project dealing with the  detection and intervention of alcohol and substance abuse.

In an effort to give back to the community, in 1973, Grandview took excess food and distributed to to other agencies throughout the San Gabriel Valley. By The summer of 1975 this project was providing 50,000 meals per day in the Pasadena and surrounding areas. The success of this program gained national attention, and grew to be one of the model programs for food banks across the nation, and is know today as The Los Angeles Food Bank.

With a prominent and compelling history to build upon, Grandview's Board of Directors, staff, and alumni take great pride in, and are committed to continue their effort to offer the most diverse and comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment programs available.
